BUIC welcomes new clients

Bournemouth University Innovation Centre has welcomed several new business clients recently. BUIC provides a range of incubation services to small and start-up businesses and is a key facility to support entrepreneurship at BU.

The new clients are Lexis Click, The Land Agency, Fresh Electronics and NLP By the Sea. Lexis Click provide online marketing services such as search engine optimization, The Land Agency specialises in the acquisition and disposal of land and investments for both residential and commercial use, Fresh Electronics specialise in business to business electrical sales and NLP by the Sea provide Neuro Linguistic programming training and consultancy services.

Speaking about their move into the centre, Stephen Bavister, Managing Director of Lexis Click said; ?We decided to move into the Innovation Centre because of its professional atmosphere and good facilities. The support from the staff at the centre is fantastic and we have made some valuable business contacts with other companies based at the centre. So far the move has been very beneficial to our business.?

The innovation centre is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BU and is located on the 4th and 5th floors of Melbury House at the Lansdowne campus. The centre provides modern and professional office units and facilties as well as ongoing business support for small businesses, a 'virtual office' service and a ?hatchery' facility.
