BUIC client Listed Magazine are celebrating an award winning evening at the Bournemouth Tourism Awards after Ali Wood, founder of Listed, won the 'Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year' award. The annual Daily Echo Bournemouth Tourism Awards, held Wednesday 21st November, celebrated the achievement, innovation, quality and excellence, of local industry businesses and people in a glamorous evening at the Bournemouth International Centre. Speaking after receiving the award Ali Wood said; “I am thrilled to have won this award. Listed magazine is a team effort from the passionate writers to the local businesses that have supported me; it is as much for them as it is for me.” Hosted by Simon Calder, Travel Editor of the Independent, the awards marked the success and excellence of hoteliers, entertainment venues, entrepreneurs and tourism services all of whom play their role in Bournemouth's vibrant tourism industry. Said Mike Francis, Chairman of the Bournemouth Tourism Management Board (BTMB) - awards organisers: “This has been a fantastic evening, celebrating the people that make Bournemouth such a success.
