mushroom marketing birthday celebrations “Happy Birthday Dear Mushroom, Happy Birthday To You!”

Mushroom Marketing Ltd, a tenant of Bournemouth University Innovation Centre celebrated its fourth birthday in February 2008 by inviting guests from its Melbury House building to share birthday cake and champagne. The Bournemouth-based PR and Marketing agency is ready for what looks to be their busiest year yet after gaining three new clients in the last week alone, including an expanding London-based mortgage provider.

Mushroom Marketing began life in 2004 when Director Emma Ansell set up the agency in her office at home, then moved to a central Bournemouth office in 2006. The company has grown from its humble beginnings and in the last four years has increased in size with a current list of 18 clients in the financial, construction, legal, recruitment, security, retail, print and marketing services fields. The agency took on an additional member of staff, Becky Cheers, in the New Year to help out with their expanding client list and if the trend continues there are plans to take on a new PR and Marketing Assistant later in 2008.

Director of Mushroom Marketing, Emma Ansell said, “Mushroom Marketing has come a long way in the last four years; as our company grows, so does the size of our clients, and the projects they ask us to help them with.  We've also added new services throughout the years, but I have noticed an increased trend of companies requesting total re-brands, all-encompassing PR solutions and marketing strategies.  We've even helped one of our local clients, Blackmore Ltd, become an award-winning printer and publicised the fact that they are in the top 1% of environmentally-friendly UK printers in local as well as national media”.
