BUIC-based Mushroom Marketing Ltd celebrated its anniversary exactly three years to the day that it was formed. Thirty guests including clients from the past three years plus other special guests were invited to a party on Friday 2 nd February, where they enjoyed a champagne reception with canapés followed by wine tasting at the Captains Club Hotel in Christchurch .

Mushroom Marketing, who specialises in marketing and public relations for growing companies, was formed in February 2004 by Emma Ansell. Last year, due to continued success and business growth, Emma employed Marketing and PR Assistant Rubina Khan to help with the additional projects and moved to central Bournemouth offices in the Bournemouth University Innovation Centre at Oxford Road. They are looking at expanding further in 2007.

Mushroom Marketing is currently working with clients in a variety of areas, including mortgage companies, european bank Handelsbanken with regional offices in Bournemouth, chartered surveyors, Hampshire electronic product manufacturers, property developers in the surrounding areas and north Dorset printer Blackmore Ltd. The company successfully helps its clients gain new customers and increase awareness of their products and services through the creation and implementation of marketing strategies, such as public relations, direct mail campaigns and promotional literature.

Director Emma Ansell said: ‘We were delighted to celebrate 3 exciting years in business with our clients and special guests. I was especially impressed by their rendition of ‘happy birthday to you'! The event was a great success and many of our clients were asking how we were going to top the event for future anniversary celebrations!'
